3 AEW stars who Tony Khan might bury in 2025

2024 is almost to an end and the new year is right around the corner, which means a fresh start for almost everyone in AEW. Many stars will be willing to step up the plate as they look to make it big in the company.

However, not everyone will get a good chance to showcase themselves as some stars are bound to get buried or lost in the shuffle in the huge roster at All Elite Wrestling. We're here to take a look at those stars that Tony Khan could likely bury next year in 2025.

#3. Anthony Bowens could be split from Max Caster in AEW

For a while now tension has been rising between Anthony Bowens and Max Caster of The Acclaimed. The group has not been seeing much success ever since they dropped the AEW Trios Title.

The two stars were recently approached by MVP to join their ranks in The Hurt Syndicate, whilst the latter was out recruiting. However, Anthony Bowens immediately turned down the offer, his partner Max Caster seemingly had been considering it.

This could be a hint at a betrayal soon from Caster as he would look to accept MVP's offer and leave his partner behind. It could also lead to Bowens not getting much time on TV again, with much of the spotlight eventually going to his partner.

#2. Jamie Hayter could lose to Julia Hart in 2025

Jamie Hayter recently found herself on the receiving end of a vicious attack from a returning Julia Hart. Hart would make a shocking return and lay out Jamie on a recent episode of AEW Collision.

The two are now set to battle it out against each other on AEW Dynamite Fight for the Fallen 2025. It seems like Tony Khan will be looking to reestablish one of his best female characters on the roster once again.

This could eventually mean that Hayter could fall victim as the loser in this feud and be used as a sort of sacrificial lamb to put Julia Hart over in 2025. This booking could hurt Hayter's credibility, slip her further down the card, and she could get lost in the shuffle over in All Elite Wrestling.

#1. Ricochet could end up getting buried in 2025

Ricochet debuted at AEW All In and seemed destined to become a huge star for the Jacksonville-based promotion. He would also show flashes of greatness as well after going on a hot streak of wins.

However, it seems like his stars are getting dimmed now after his teased heel turn did not land correctly with the fans. The former WWE Superstar's alignment with The Hurt Syndicate also seems to be misguided as he almost got destroyed by Bobby Lashley on Dynamite.

It seems like Ricochet's credibility as a star performer could take a hit in 2025 which could lead to Tony Khan burying him and keeping him off the main event.
