With only a few hours left before WrestleDream kicks off, let us take a look at three rumors and speculations about the PPV.
#3. MxM could introduce Dijak as their third member at WrestleDream
MxM, which is made of former WWE stars, Mansoor and Mason Madden made their AEW debut earlier this year. They are undoubtedly very talented, however, it's gonna take a while for them to get over with the All Elite fans. They are going to face The Acclaimed in WrestleDream's Zero Hour. Interestingly, Mansoor recently revealed that the upcoming event will see the introduction of their third member.
Fans are heavily speculating that the third MxM will be former NXT star Dijak. The 37-year-old left WWE in June 2024 and has been heavily rumored to become All Elite. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for the group in the Jacksonville-based company if this happens.
#2. Bryan Danielson will lose decisively and quit being a full-time competitor
Bryan Danielson has stated several times that once his AEW World Title reign ends, he will quit being a full-time wrestler. The possibility of the same happening later tonight at WrestleDream seems quite high.
The odds are completely against The American Dragon in this match. Furthermore, it will make sense for Tony Khan to make Jon Moxley the new champion because he and The Blackpool Combat Club currently have immense momentum. Nevertheless, Danielson's title run has been enjoyable, and the showdown between him and Mox will certainly be memorable.
#1. Bobby Lashley will make his AEW debut
Former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley has reportedly already signed a deal with All Elite Wrestling. His former stablemates, MVP and Shelton Benjamin have already made their debut in the company, and there are strong rumors that The All Mighty will make his first All Elite appearance at WrestleDream.
The 48-year-old could confront the returning Swerve Strickland and realign with MVP and Shelton Benjamin, forming The Hurt Syndicate. The rivalry between Lashley and Strickland will certainly be epic.
