The entire show was memorable. However, Danielson's last full-time match stole the show. It is unknown when and where The American Dragon will wrestle again. However, he will certainly return to the ring after he recovers from his injuries. Moreover, there is also a possibility that Triple H may rehire him.
Here are three signs that suggest Bryan Danielson will wrestle in WWE again:
#3. Several veterans have returned to WWE in the past
WWE played a huge role in making Bryan Danielson a global star. The American Dragon headlined WrestleMania twice and won numerous titles in the company. He is a four-time WWE Champion, a one-time World Heavyweight Champion, a one-time Intercontinental Champion, and a one-time United States Champion. He also held tag team gold once with Kane.
Bryan is undoubtedly one of the biggest names in the company's history. Even though he once claimed that he had no interest in joining WWE again, nothing is impossible in this business. This statement only got solidified when CM Punk made his comeback to the promotion in November 2023.
It will also be delightful to see Bryan win the Undisputed WWE Championship once more before his ultimate retirement.
#2. More freedom under Triple H
When Vince McMahon was at the helm, wrestlers reportedly did not have a lot of freedom. They had to do things by the book. Because of this, fans and individuals associated with the business often criticized the company. Interestingly, ever since Triple H took charge of the creative, things have changed.
Reports suggest that The Game offers a lot of freedom to his roster. Stars are allowed to develop their character and story on their own, and this is easily noticeable when their shows are viewed. With conditions like this, Bryan Danielson will certainly thrive. The American Dragon is a creative genius after all.
#1. Bryan Danielson's relationship with Shawn Michaels
Shawn Michaels and Bryan Danielson have a very close relationship. As a young boy, The American Dragon trained in HBK's wrestling school. They almost locked horns inside the squared circle in 2013-14.
"There was a moment, a brief period of time, in 2013-14 when I thought I was going to get it, but I didn’t. So close!" Danielson revealed in an interview with The Daily Star in August 2024. [H/T: 411 Mania]
Shawn Michaels runs the NXT brand, and he will certainly love having his former trainee in the promotion. The black and silver brand is brimming with talent, and the former WWE Champion could elevate them to the next level.
