3 Stars who could return to WWE after Arn Anderson
WWE SummerSlam saw the return of Arn Anderson in what was definitely a big surprise. Anderson showed up as Cody Rhodes was going out to make his entrance for his match against Solo Sikoa.
Anderson was a part of AEW for five years, from 2019 to 2024. During that time, he had a lot of memorable moments and most of them came when he was Cody Rhodes’ manager. It was certainly a great sight to see him back in WWE and going by their interaction, it looks likely that fans could see the two of them together soon.
Like Anderson, there are a few former AEW names that could make the jump over to the other side. In this article, we will take a look at three such stars.
#3. Brock Anderson
The obvious answer would be someone close to Arn Anderson and who's better than his own son, Brock Anderson. Brock is a 27-year-old star and was in AEW from 2021 to 2023. He made his wrestling debut in June 2021 where he teamed with QT Marshall and Aaron Solo on AEW Dynamite.
He did not have a great time there and left in October 2023. The one reason why he could move over to World Wrestling Entertainment is that he could be getting a new lease of life in WWE NXT. With his dad by his side, he could be able to fulfill his potential given he is still an up-and-coming wrestler.
#2. CJ Perry
CJ Perry left AEW in rather strange circumstances. It seemed like she was finally about to have her break and have a run as a solo star but that was not to be, with her last televised appearance coming at the end of December last year at the Worlds End event where she turned on Andrade to assist Miro for the win.
Since then, she has had a few health issues and it was revealed in July that she was no longer a part of AEW. A move back to the company where she made her name makes sense for her and her career going forward.
#1. Mark Henry could return to WWE
Mark Henry is a WWE legend and Hall of Famer. The World’s Strongest Man had a stellar career in the Stamford-based promotion before moving to AEW. There, he never had a match and was on commentary duty as well as being a coach backstage.
He left the company on May 28 after announcing that he would not be renewing his contract. He regularly speaks about WWE and a move back to the company could benefit him and the company given that he could be such a great mentor. Another big factor in this possible move could be the fact that his son, Jacob Henry, recently announced he had signed with WWE.
