3 teams Bryan Danielson could join after getting kicked out of Blackpool Combat Club
Bryan Danielson is no longer a member of the Blackpool Combat Club. This past Saturday at All Out pay-per-view, after successfully defending his AEW World Title against Jack Perry, Danielson was brutally attacked by Claudio Castagnoli and Jon Moxley. Only Wheeler Yuta appeared apathetic towards him, however, PAC didn't let him intervene.
Jon Moxley wrapped the AEW World Champion's face with a plastic bag and choked him until he was unresponsive. This sequence has been met with worldwide scrutiny and shock. Fans and wrestling veterans were in disbelief as Danielson was escorted out of NOW Arena by Yuta and medical staff. As it stands, The American Dragon does not have a faction to take on his former stablemates. However, we believe that this won't be long.
Bryan Danielson has accomplished immense success as a solo competitor, but he has also been a part of iconic factions. During his time in the WWE, he once represented the infamous Nexus. Furthermore, he was briefly a Wyatt Family member, with the legendary Bray Wyatt at the helm. While his time in the BCC seems over, there is a possibility that he could join another stable. This is because he currently holds the most prestigious title in the company and having backup is a good idea.
Here are three teams that Danielson could possibly join in the future.
#3. The Hurt Syndicate (Bryan Danielson in place of Cedric Alexander)
Former Hurt Business members are heavily rumored to join AEW. Bobby Lashley, MVP, and Sheldon Benjamin are currently free agents and as per reports, their next destination is Jacksonville. The fourth member of the stable, Cedric Alexander, recently re-signed with WWE.
Totally Harmless Concept LLC recently trademarked "The Hurt Syndicate." The same company had also filled trademark MVP in 2013. If the former WWE Superstars make their AEW debut, they will probably be babyface. Since its original iteration consisted of four members, Bryan Danielson could join them.
MVP and co. would cherish the opportunity to ally with the AEW World Champion and the former Daniel Bryan could do with more security.
#2. House of Black
While this is highly unlikely, it will be interesting to see The American Dragon in a darker avatar with face paint. House of Black consists of Malakai Black, Brody King, and Buddy Matthews. The three men are immensely talented, however, fans feel like they haven't been given adequate opportunities.
Tony Khan could pair Bryan Danielson with House of Black and push the faction into the main event picture. Maybe it is time for the stable to aim for gold, such as the AEW Continental Championship, the AEW TNT Championship, the AEW International Championship, or the AEW World Tag Team Championship.
#1. The Conglomeration
Few would argue that Bryan Danielson fits in the Conglomeration like a glove. This newly formed faction consists of Kyle O'Reilly, Mark Briscoe, Orange Cassidy, Tomohiro Ishii, and Willow Nightingale. Already oozing with talent and charisma, the AEW World Champion's addition will be an icing on the cake.
The Conglomeration has received immense recognition in a short duration. It appears like their potential is fathomless and if booked properly, they could main event marquee shows. Furthermore, Danielson has a deep appreciation for former three-time NXT Tag Team Champion, Kyle O'Reilly.
