3-time WWE champion to debut at AEW All In 2024 and immediately destroy Chris Jericho? Exploring the possibility

AEW is set to present its annual All In Pay-Per-View on August 25th. The wrestling world is buzzing over potential swerves and surprises for the big event. A former WWE star's debut at All In could mean big trouble for Chris Jericho.

All Elite Wrestling's 2024 All In event is scheduled to take place at Wembley Stadium in London, England. AEW currently has nine matches booked for the PPV, including an FTW Championship defense for Jericho. He will face former champion Hook in a Last Chance Match, where the son of Taz, if he loses, will no longer be allowed to challenge for the title as long as Jericho is the champion. A controversial finish seems likely, which could be brought on by none other than former WWE Superstar Montell Vontavious Porter.

MVP's WWE contract expired today, and he was moved to the Alumni roster, along with Bobby Lashley. The 23-year industry veteran has many associates in AEW, but he also has heat with at least one top star. Jericho and MVP reportedly had a falling out over politics a while back. MVP allegedly knocked Jericho out in January 2020 during Jericho's Rock 'n' Wrestling Rager at Sea Part Deux cruise, then there was a verbal confrontation between the two in May 2020 at a hotel following Dynamite in Houston.

AEW could play off the real-life heat between Jericho and MVP by booking a tense angle at All In. While there is no connection between Hook and the former Hurt Business member, there's potential to have MVP assist the 25-year-old in regaining the FTW Championship.

There's also potential for MVP to form a new faction in AEW, as a follow-up to The Hurt Business. Lashley was also rumored to possibly sign with Tony Khan following his WWE exit, but nothing has been confirmed. While Lashley or someone like Keith Lee could serve as the muscle of the group, there could be a scenario in which Hook is recruited as the young, rising star.
