With a lineup this strong, Tony Khan can pull off a masterpiece. However, there are possibilities of a few things that can take place completely out of the blue.
Below are three twists Tony Khan could plan for AEW Dynamite this week.
#3. MJF could interfere in Adam Cole’s AEW Dynamite match
MJF is currently in a compelling storyline with Adam Cole and Roderick Strong. A few weeks ago, Cole made his All Elite return after being sidelined with an injury for months. Later, he expressed his desire to face The Salt of The Earth in one-on-one action. Interestingly, his stablemate, Strong, too revealed that he wanted a match against the former AEW World Champion.
On a previous Dynamite, MJF stated that at Full Gear, he would face either of the two men who registered three consecutive wins. Both Cole and Strong have won two matches. Their deciding matches are on this week's Dynamite and MJF might interfere in the former NXT Champion's match.
The Salt of The Earth might cost Cole his match and could result in him facing The Messiah of the Backbreaker at the upcoming pay-per-view.
#2. Bobby Lashley could distract Swerve Strickland in his match
Swerve Strickland and his manager, Prince Nana, are currently in a feud with The Hurt Syndicate. At Full Gear, he will lock horns with Bobby Lashley in singles action. Hence, it will be instrumental for both men to gain momentum before their showdown.
On the upcoming Dynamite, the former AEW World Champion will battle Lio Rush. It should not be too hard for Strickland to beat the 30-year-old, but there is a possibility that Rush will win. The Washington native could be distracted by The All Mighty and lose his match. Mind games are an important part of THS's modus operandi, and they will look to completely break Swerve Strickland's spirit.
#1. Jon Moxley could attack the broadcast team
The Death Riders, led by Jon Moxley, are not just dangerous but immensely unpredictable. They are currently in a rivalry with The Conglomeration's Orange Cassidy.
The way the company is advertising the reigning AEW World Champion's upcoming Dynamite appearance suggests he will do something very drastic and disturbing. We believe that he will brutally attack the company's broadcast team. Tony Schiavone, Excalibur, or Nigel McGuinness might have to be taken to the arena on a stretcher.
