4 Released WWE Superstars Shane McMahon could bring to AEW

AEW has a plethora of former WWE stars, including Bryan Danielson, Saraya, Mercedes Mone, Samoa Joe, Adam Cole, Chris Jericho, Tony Storm, and more. Over the years, WWE has also signed several names from the Jacksonville-based company, such as Ethan Page, CM Punk, Jade Cargill, and others.

Interestingly, it looks like All Elite Wrestling is going to continue signing names from their rival promotion. For the past few months, Shane McMahon has been heavily rumored to be their next major signing. The 54-year-old is not only the son of Vince McMahon but a multi-time WWE champion and the 2018 WWE World Cup winner.

Fans are convinced that Shane's debut in All Elite Wrestling is imminent. However, there is a huge possibility that he might not arrive alone. The veteran might show up with a few names who were released from WWE.

Here are four released WWE Superstars Shane McMahon could bring to AEW.

#4 Raj Dhesi could help AEW grow its market in India

Raj Dhesi (fka Jinder Mahal) is a former WWE Champion. Although his reign was divisive, he held the title for more than 160 days. He had two separate runs in the Stamford-based company: one from 2010 to 2014, and the other from 2016 to 2024. He was recently released from his contract and is currently a free agent.

Dhesi is of Indian descent. Furthermore, he is tall, strong, and has impressive in-ring skills. Shane McMahon could bring him to AEW, and if this happens, the company will certainly be able to cater to the Indian audience. Furthermore, Tony Khan could pair him with Satnam Singh.

#3 & #2 Sunil Singh and Samir Singh (The Bollywood Boyz)

The Bollywood Boyz were not signed to WWE for long. This team consists of Gurvinder "Gurv" Sihra and Harvinder "Harv" Sihra, whose in-ring names in the Stamford-based company were Sunil Singh and Samir Singh, respectively. They used to accompany Jinder Mahal to the ring and ensure that The Modern Day Maharaja won his matches by any means necessary.

This duo once wrestled on AEW Dark, and it will be nice to see them back, especially if Shane McMahon brings Dhesi with him. Both stars have held the WWE 24/7 Championship multiple times in the past.

#1 Matt Cardona

Matt Cardona is a former WWE Intercontinental and United States Champion. After his release from the Stamford-based company in 2020, he has wrestled in various promotions, including AEW. His most memorable match in the Tony Khan-led company was perhaps against Adam Copeland (fka Edge) earlier this year.

Interestingly, AEW has not offered him a full-time contract yet. Maybe, with the arrival of Shane McMahon, this will change and the 39-year-old could finally have a company he will be able to call home.
