4 stars Bryan Danielson could form a new faction with to feud with Death Riders in AEW
Bryan Danielson is a legend in every right. His run in All Elite Wrestling was remarkable as he held the AEW World Championship once. However, when he was signed to the WWE, he achieved immense success. The former Daniel Bryan won the WWE Championship four times and World Heavyweight Championship once.
The American Dragon has now retired from wrestling full-time. His last match was at WrestleDream where he was viciously defeated by Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship. In addition, his former faction The Death Riders (fka Blackpool Combat Club) brutally attacked him after the match. The veteran was taken out of the arena on a stretcher.
Fans across the world want Danielson to return to the company and exact revenge on his attackers. But to do so, the 43-year-old will need backup. The best way to do that would be to create a faction.
Here are four names who could be members of The American Dragon's new potential faction.
#4. Eddie Kingston could join forces with Bryan Danielson
Eddie Kingston and Bryan Danielson locked horns twice in the 2023 Continental Classic Tournament. Their first showdown was great but the second one was just extraordinary. The two men had a short but intense rivalry. However, they have deep mutual respect for one another.
If The American Dragon decided to form a faction in the war against The Death Riders, The Mad King would be a perfect fit. Furthermore, Kingston has a massive history with Jon Moxley. From a storyline perspective, the 42-year-old would be a key tool for Danielson to take down the former Dean Ambrose and his stable.
#3. Former NJPW star Will Ospreay
Will Ospreay and Bryan Danielson reportedly share a close relationship. The duo had an intense singles match at Dynasty earlier this year which lasted for more than half an hour. This showdown was won by The Ariel Assassin. Eventually, he went on to hold the AEW International Championship twice.
Will Ospreay is one of the best wrestlers in the world currently. Fans believe that he is a future World Champion because of his astonishing in-ring abilities and microphone skills. However, if The Leader of the 'Yes!' Movement decides to form a faction, he must ask the former NJPW star to join him as soon as possible.
#2. Daniel Garcia has shared the ring with Bryan in the past
Daniel Garcia and Bryan Danielson have met in the squared circle numerous times. The two men know each other very well and also possess a similar in-ring style. Additionally, the 26-year-old was seen concerned beside the ring, for The American Dragon's condition after the brutality of WrestleDream.
If the 43-year-old forms a new faction, Garcia would fit in it perfectly. This will also allow him to hold bigger titles in the future.
#1. Danielson's wife Brie Bella
Brie Bella is Bryan Danielson's wife and a former WWE Divas Champion. She retired years ago. However, one of the most famous sayings in professional wrestling is 'Never say never.'
If the former AEW World Champion decides to form a faction to take down The Death Riders, Bella could be a perfect candidate to join. Ultimately, watching a legendary married couple partner up to take down one of the most feared stables in the world would make for must-see TV.
