4 Stars who could be Ricochet's mystery partner on AEW Dynamite next week
Ricochet is slowly starting to make his ascent in AEW. He made his debut with high expectations, but somewhere along the line, things arguably got stale.
He will compete in a tag team match against Konosuke Takeshita and Kyle Fletcher next week on AEW Dynamite. The Future of Flight has yet to choose who his partner will be. This choice could be key for him as a victory may allow him to gain much momentum.
In this article, we will take a look at four such stars that could be Ricochet’s mystery partner next week on Dynamite.
#4 Will Ospreay
Will Ospreay is a logical choice as he has had his fair share of run-ins with Konosuke Takeshita in the past. He was part of the Don Callis Family but now there are issues between the two sides. That could be the motivation he needs to support his friend next week on Dynamite.
Ricochet and Ospreay are known to be very good friends. There have been times when The Aerial Assassin has publicly expressed his desire to work with the former United States Champion. This match could be the perfect time for the two to unite and fight a common enemy.
#3 Mark Davis
Mark Davis showed up on AEW Collision after 399 days and confronted Kyle Fletcher. There was clear animosity between the long-time teammates.
With his differences with Kyle Fletcher apparent, he could shake hands with Ricochet and become his mystery tag team partner next week. That will set up a lengthy feud and give him the push he needs as he makes his in-ring comeback after a long time.
#2 Komander
This one again ties back to Saturday’s Collision, where Kyle Fletcher defeated Komander. The two had a good match but unfortunately for the masked wrestler, he could not get the job done.
Because he and the former WWE star have a similar wrestling style and given how the events on Collision turned out, Ricochet could choose Komander as his mystery tag team partner.
#1 Shelton Benjamin could be Ricochet's tag team partner
MVP tried to bring Ricochet into The Hurt Syndicate but was unable to do so. However, if history is anything to go by, we know that the former WWE star does not give up that easily.
With the recent arrival of Bobby Lashley, MVP might still want to add the former Speed Champion to his faction. As an olive branch, he could send out Shelton Benjamin to be The Future of Flight's partner. If that happens, it will be interesting to see how The Human Highlight Reel will view it.
Will the offer sway his mind into shaking hands with MVP and joining the Hurt Syndicate? Fans must stay tuned to find out.
