4 twists Tony Khan could pull off on AEW Dynamite to beat WWE NXT this week
This week's episode of AEW Dynamite is going to feature some exciting matches along with a few interesting segments. Interestingly, the upcoming NXT episode is also going to take place on Wednesday night, which is usually the Jacksonville-based company's bread and butter.
Here are the matches and segments announced for Dynamite so far:
- Fight Without Honor Match: The Learning Tree (Chris Jericho, Big Bill, & Bryan Keith) vs. The Conglomeration (Mark Briscoe, Tomohiro Ishii, & Kyle O’Reilly)
- Orange Cassidy & Darby Allin vs. PAC & Claudio Castagnoli
- Adam Cole vs. Malakai Black
- Penelope Ford vs. Jamie Hayter
- The Hurt Syndicate will make an appearance
- The Patriarchy and HOOK will go face-to-face
- Konosuke Takeshita and Kyle Fletcher vs. Ricochet and a mystery partner
From the preview, it looks like the show is going to be promising. Furthermore, Tony Khan could probably pull off a few twits for Dynamite to get better ratings than the Tripe H-led promotion's NXT.
Below are four things AEW can do to beat NXT:
#4. Orange Cassidy & Darby Allin will brutally get attacked by The BCC on AEW Dynamite
The match between Orange Cassidy & Darby Allin and PAC & Claudio Castagnoli is going to be a hard-hitting affair. The latter are members of Jon Moxley's faction. They are out for blood and are going after the names they believe have not fulfilled their potential in the company. Furthermore, Moxley and Cassidy will lock horns for the AEW World Championship at Full Gear.
Before the pay-per-view, The BCC will try its best to completely break down Cassidy's spirit. And one of the best ways of doing that is by interfering in his upcoming match. The former Dean Ambrose, Wheeler Yuta, and Marina Shafir will probably brutally attack 'Freshly Squeezed' and the daredevil.
#3. Ricochet's mystery partner could be Kommander
Ricochet is having quite a good year. He has already established himself as one of the assets of AEW and has taken part in many memorable matches. In the upcoming Dynamite, he will team up with a mystery partner to take on The Don Callis Family's Kyle Fletcher and AEW International Champion Konosuke Takeshita.
Many fans are speculating that the former Intercontinental Champion's tag team partner will be Will Ospereay. However, that is too predictable. In what would be a buzz-worthy twist, Kommander could be revealed as his mystery tag team partner.
#2. Hook will reunite Team Tazz
Hook is currently in a rivalry with Christian Cage of The Patriarchy. This feud began when the former AEW TNT Champion attacked Taz and injured him. As we speak, Cage's stable consists of Kip Sabian, Nick Wayne, Mother Wayne, and Killswitch (fka Luchasaurus). Even though Killswitch is on hiatus, the faction still overpowers Hook.
To even the odds, Hook could reunite Team Tazz. This reunion could feature only Brian Cage and Ricky Starks. However, it will be interesting to see what will happen if they team up again.
#1. Keith Lee will return and side with Swerve Strickland
With Bobby Lashley's debut last week, The Hurt Syndicate has become one of AEW's most dominant factions. They have strived to make Swerve Strickland and his manager Prince Nana's life hell. However, the former World Champion might pull off a genius move.
Even though it is highly unlikely Keith Lee might make his return as he has been sidelined due to injury for several months. There is a possibility that the star may have made a full recovery. Strickland and Lee are former AEW Tag Team Champions, hence their reunion will create a massive impact and become the talk of the town.
