Perhaps the most infuriating booking decision since Adam Copeland moved to AEW was his win against Malakai Black at Double or Nothing. Black has been due a singles push for a long time, and it was expected that he could beat Adam to become the new TNT Champion.

The leader of the House of Black took on his opponent in a barbed wire steel cage match, and it would be an understatement to say that it was a hard-hitting match. Adam Copeland got a helping hand from his past as Gangrel showed up to help him beat Malakai.

#2. AJ Styles

AJ Styles took on Edge at WrestleMania 38, and while it should have been a defining match for the former, it was not.

Styles was with Omos at the time, and he felt underutilized. When he showed up to accept Copeland’s offer for a match at WrestleMania, it felt like a great contest would follow.

However, he lost that match, derailing the push AJ Styles was about to get. The fans instead got a heel, Adam Copeland, who brought back the conchairto into fashion and used it to attack Styles in the buildup to their match.

#1. Seth Rollins did not benefit from his rivalry against Adam Copeland

Adam Copeland and Seth Rollins were one rivalry that should have elevated the younger star. Rollins was the perfect Copeland protege. He was vile and vicious like the Rated-R Superstar in his prime and would go to any lengths to win.
