41-year-old star to make shocking AEW return and cost Jon Moxley his title at Full Gear? Exploring the chances

AEW star Kenny Omega is hopeful for an in-ring return next year at Wrestle Dynasty and Wrestle Kingdom. However, he could make a huge impact by pulling a shocking comeback and costing Jon Moxley the World Title at the upcoming Full Gear PPV.

The Cleaner has been out of action since last year after being diagnosed with diverticulitis. Kenny Omega recently had surgery and has been putting in the work to return to the squared circle. He recently announced that he wants to wrestle a young talent at NJPW Wrestle Dynasty, which seemingly will be Gabe Kidd, as Omega had a brawl with him after the event.

Kenny Omega's last appearance in All Elite Wrestling saw him getting ambushed by The Elite (Kazuchika Okada, The Young Bucks & Jack Perry). However, the veteran can shift his focus to Jon Moxley who has been terrorizing the promotion for the past few months with his Death Riders stablemates - Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, PAC, and Marina Shafir.

Jon Moxley is set to defend his AEW World Title against Orange Cassidy at Full Gear. Kenny Omega could make his surprising return and cost Moxley the World Title which could reignite the 2019 rivalry between the former WWE star and Kenny Omega.

AEW star Kenny Omega on whether BTE will return

Being The Elite was a YouTube show started by The Young Bucks in 2016. The show featured the journey of The Elite and also Cody Rhodes till his departure from AEW.

In a recent chat with Fightful, Kenny Omega said that the series could come back in the future and respects the decision to end it. He noted how the talent who weren't being featured on AEW television were getting opportunities on the show.

“The time and quality demands just didn’t match the time we had to give to the series anymore. By the end, BTE kind of became its own thing. There were moments when it felt more like a Dark Order show, and there were times when it featured wrestlers who didn’t have spots on TV, giving them something to do for the week. I was more than thrilled for it to be a platform for those individuals. That said, I totally respect the reason why it had to end. I don’t know—maybe one day it could come back, but for now, it’s just not feasible.” [H/T Ringside News]

We will have to wait and see if Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks decide to bring back Being The Elite in the future.
