5 stars who could debut at AEW All Out 2024

AEW All Out 2024 will emanate from the NOW Arena in Chicago, Illinois, on September 7, 2024. The event will be the next major pay-per-view for All Elite Wrestling after All In London, which turned out to be a highly successful show.

Several intriguing matches have already been announced for All Out 2024. The pay-per-view will feature Will Ospreay defending his AEW International Championship against Pac in a much-anticipated contest. Moreover, Daniel Garcia would look for redemption when he goes up against Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) at All Out 2024.

The show will also witness the culmination of one of the greatest rivalries in AEW history when Swerve Strickland locks horns with Hangman Adam Page in a Steel Cage match. While the announced match card is enough to build intrigue for All Out 2024, Tony Khan could raise the stakes further by pulling off some major surprises at the show.

The Chicago pay-per-view could witness the arrival of several hot free agents in All Elite Wrestling. From a daredevil veteran to a decorated former WWE Champion, many debuting superstars could make the audience's jaw drop at All Out 2024. In this article, let's look at five superstars who could make their AEW debut at All Out.

#5. Dijak could be on his way to All Elite Wrestling

In a surprising turn of events, WWE refused to renew Dijak's contract earlier this year. The former Retribution member officially parted ways with the Stamford-based promotion in June 2024 and has continued to grind on the independent circuit since then.

Known for his hard-hitting combat skills and natural charisma, Dijak would make a great addition to the AEW roster. The 37-year-old superstar was one of the brightest talents during his time in NXT, where he consistently churned out in-ring classics weekly.

Dijak is equally excellent on the mic as well, which could help him thrive in a Tony Khan-led company. The former member of Retribution could arrive in the Jacksonville-based promotion at All Out 2024, where he could target a current titleholder like Will Ospreay or Kazuchika Okada.

Dijak could make a similar impact in the Tony Khan-led company as Swerve Strickland, who smoothly transitioned from NXT to AEW.

#4. Xia Li could strengthen the AEW women's division

Xia Li struggled to get over with the audience during her time in WWE. While Li did have impressive in-ring skills, she could never find her footing as a character. WWE tried several different gimmicks for the 36-year-old star, but she, unfortunately, could not establish herself as a major player in the women's division.

The Chinese star did have a brief yet entertaining rivalry with Becky Lynch in 2023, which helped her gain the appreciation of the fans. Unfortunately, the creative team failed to come up with any good material for Xia Li after that, and she was eventually handed her release in April 2024.

While WWE could not capitalize on her immense potential, AEW could end up being the platform where Xia Li gets her big break.

Currently working on the independent circuit, Xia Li could cause disruption in the AEW women's division very soon. The 36-year-old star could join the Jacksonville-based promotion at All Out 2024 by confronting any of the top female stars. A fantastic performer between the ropes, Li could prove to be a solid challenger for Mercedes Mone, who is trying to cement herself as a fighting TBS Champion.

#3. Jinder Mahal goes after Hook

After a seven-year-long run in the company, Jinder Mahal officially cut his ties with WWE in April 2024. The Modern Day Maharaja was frustrated about The Indus Sher's disappointing booking, which eventually led to his release from the Titanland.

Following the completion of his non-compete clause, Mahal recently made his return to the squared circle by debuting in GCW. The Maharaja also competed on AAA TripleMania 32 CDMX, where he captured the AAA World Tag Team Championships alongside AEW's Satnam Singh.

Considering his popularity in the Indian market, Jinder Mahal is one of the most valuable free agents in pro wrestling at the moment. While Tony Khan did have an online tussle with The Maharaja in January 2024, the AEW head booker would gladly keep his differences with Mahal aside if it benefits the Jacksonville-based promotion.

After Hook defeated Chris Jericho at All In 2024 to reclaim his FTW Championship, Mahal sarcastically congratulated the Cold-hearted Handsome Devil on X/Twitter. Considering their past issues with each other, it would not be surprising if The Maharaja paid Hook a visit at All Out 2024 to challenge him for the FTW Championship.

#2. Bobby Lashley makes his earth-shattering debut at All Out 2024

Bobby Lashley is no longer a member of the WWE roster. The Almighty's contract with the Triple H-led company recently came to an end, and he has decided not to renew his association with WWE. Frustrated with his booking under The Game's creative regime, the former WWE Champion is interested in exploring working opportunities in other promotions.

The Dominator is heavily rumored to be headed to All Elite Wrestling in the near future. Bobby Lashley is reportedly interested in reviving The Hurt Business outside WWE, which could lead him to sign with the Tony Khan-led company soon.

The former Intercontinental Champion could send the wrestling world into a frenzy at All Out 2024 by making his debut appearance in AEW. Lashley could be involved in a special promo segment on the show, where he could lay down his future plans in front of the AEW audience.

Having achieved enormous success in WWE, a move to AEW could allow The Almighty to test himself against many world-class performers that he has never faced before.

#1. Shane McMahon becomes All Elite at All Out 2024

Shane McMahon is arguably the hottest commodity in the pro wrestling industry at the moment. The Prodigal Son recently had a meeting with AEW CEO, Tony Khan, which hinted at his possible interest in a deal with WWE.

Tony Khan also seems open to the idea of a working relationship with Shane McMahon, as it could help AEW improve from a creative standpoint. The former WWE Hardcore Champion also has tons of connections in the wrestling industry, which could prove beneficial to AEW in the future.

With his decades of experience, Shane McMahon could end up being the key that helps AEW compete against WWE on the ratings front. Moreover, McMahon can still offer a lot in the squared circle, despite being way past his younger years.

All Out 2024 could light up with the arrival of the Prodigal Son, who could send the entire Chicago crowd into a state of disbelief.
