6 blockbuster AEW feuds that must be booked in 2025
2024 has been a great year for AEW. There were a lot of debuts and some of them were earth-shattering. Mercedes Mone and Bobby Lashley made their presence felt in the company with several other top stars joining the promotion.
This year has also been the year for a lot of memorable feuds. Adam Copeland went toe to toe with Christian Cage and also with Malakai Black. On the other hand, fans saw Jon Moxley duke it out with Bryan Danielson.
In this article, we will take a look at six such feuds that must be booked in AEW in 2025.
#6. Bobby Lashley vs AEW World Champion Jon Moxley
This is one such feud that is going to happen sooner rather than later. That is most likely because Moxley is the AEW World Champion and Lashley has his sights set on the title.
Before signing up with the company, Bobby Lashley revealed how he wanted to win it all in his new company. Also, what works in his favor is having MVP by his side. The hype man will make sure that his client will get the title shot he needs and Tony Khan needs to book it.
#5. Kazuchika Okada vs Konosuke Takeshita
Kazuchika Okada is one of the best Japanese stars in AEW and closely following him is his compatriot Konosuke Takeshita. Both stars are aligned with heel factions thereby making it difficult for them to take on each other yet.
However, things could change in 2025. Takeshita recently revealed how he would like to take on Okada and given how talented they are, it is only a matter of time before this feud materializes.
#4. Mercedes Mone vs Toni Storm
Mercedes Mone is one of the top heels in the company and she just knows how to make the crowd work. That is her talent. On top of that, she is a great wrestler and puts on great matches from time to time.
Toni Storm on the other hand recently turned face and that sets up a new dynamic when it comes to how she will be booked in the new year. With Mone looking likely to hold on to the TBS Title going into the new year, having her take on Storm in 2025 will be something that the fans will love to watch.
#3. Kenny Omega vs MJF
Kenny Omega has missed pretty much the entire year barring a few appearances here and there. Thanks to the unfortunate condition he was diagnosed with late last year.
MJF is also currently feuding with Adam Cole and it looks like it will end at AEW Worlds End. With Omega returning soon, having him feud with MJF will make for great viewing and drive up ratings in the new year.
#2. Adam Copeland vs Hangman Adam Page
Like Kenny Omega, Adam Copeland has missed the best part of 2024 with an unfortunate injury that he suffered at Double or Nothing. Page has also had a stop-start in 2024 bar his memorable feuds with Swerve Strickland.
Copeland has made it clear that he wants to have a great time in AEW and having him feud with Page will make sure that he fulfills that dream of his.
#1. Adam Copeland vs Samoa Joe
Samoa Joe had a nice beginning to 2024 as the AEW World Champion and he held on to the title for a few months before dropping it to Swerve Strickland.
Given that Copeland wants to take on the best in the business, there is no one that fits the bill more than the Samoan Submission Machine. Having both men take on each other will be a fitting way to write the twilight chapters of their careers.
