Both stars were sidelined with injuries for the majority of 2024. However, they are back now. Baker made her comeback at the Forbidden Door pay-per-view while Cole returned earlier this month at WreslteDream. He is scheduled to face former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Matthews in next week's Dynamite.

Since Cole and Baker recently parted ways, let us look at four little-known things from their time together.

#4. and #3 They met through Bumble. Baker wasn't interested in dating Adam Cole initially

Many fans might not be aware that Adam Cole and Britt Baker met through the popular dating app, Bumble. Interestingly, they didn't hit it off instantly.

The former NXT Champion, who was already a bigger star than Baker at the time was persistent yet kind, and understanding. The 33-year-old who was only finding her footing in the indies at the time did not seem overly enthusiastic about the prospect of the two stars dating then.

His persistence finally paid off and eventually Baker gave him a chance.

"He was a bigwig with Ring of Honor and I was the measly little indie darling in my first year of wrestling. For me, because he was such a well-known wrestler, I wasn't really interested at first. I've been warned of this, no way Jose, I'm not going to deal with this. He was so persistent. For months, he was like, I'd love to take you on a date. He was so polite, so kind. And then he went to New Japan for WrestleKingdom [in January 2017]," said Baker. [H/T Wrestling Inc.]

#2. Cole left WWE to be closer to Britt Baker

Adam Cole was a massive star in WWE. He was signed to the Stamford-based promotion from 2017 to 2021 and led the NXT faction, The Undisputed Era. After his contract with the Stamford-based promotion expired, he decided to join AEW.

Reports suggest that one of the main reasons for him to jump ship was to be closer to his girlfriend, Baker. He made his debut in AEW All Out 2021 to a thunderous reaction from the crowd.

#1. Even though they are not together anymore, they are still good friends

In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Adam Cole confirmed rumors of his break up with Britt Baker. However, he revealed that they are still friends and continue to support each other through thick and thin.

He talked about the immense love both of them had for each other and he wanted her to be very successful and knew that she wished the same for him.

“…we both still love each other and are still friends and still so supportive of each other, that could not be more true. I think the world of Britt. I want her to be as happy and successful as humanly possible, and I know she feels the exact same way about me," said Adam Cole. [H/T Sports Illustrated]
