Adam Cole finally shares honest feelings about facing constant body-shaming

AEW star Adam Cole had been sidelined for several months due to a foot injury. He made his anticipated return at the WrestleDream Pay-Per-View and renewed his rivalry with MJF. Furthermore, he is scheduled to go one-on-one against House of Black's Buddy Matthews in the next week's Dynamite.

Throughout his career, Adam Cole has faced a lot of body-shaming. It continues to this day and he recently revealed that he feels bad when someone does it. However, he understands that every public figure gets scrutinized and tries not to get discouraged by the harsh words on social media.

"That’s what being in the public eye really means. People are allowed to say what they want to say. Does it feel good? Not at all. It definitely doesn’t. At the same time, if I’m someone who wants to be in the entertainment business and in the public eye, I know it’s something I have to expect to deal with in a lot of ways," said Cole.

He added:

"I know everyone handles it differently. For me, I’ve gotten to the point where I kind of ignore it or block it out as best I can. I’m focused on making me the best version of me. I try not to get too discouraged with what social media can say," he stated. [H/T: TV Insider]

Adam Cole revealed a shocking detail about his surgery

Adam Cole recently revealed that his foot injury was so severe that the medical staff had to use a deceased person's bone to get him fixed. He reportedly thanked the individual and their family for the donation.

"So not only did I have to get double the amount of screws in my ankle, but also, I had to get someone else's bone put into my ankle because the bone piece within my ankle just completely disintegrated," said Cole. [H/T: Wrestling Inc]

It will be interesting to see what the future holds for The Panama City Playboy in AEW now that he is fully recovered and ready to go.
