Welcome to the latest edition of AEW News & Rumor Roundup. Today, we'll take a look at some intriguing information regarding MVP teasing a fourth The Hurt Syndicate member as well as Jon Moxley's latest comments on Orange Cassidy.

In addition, we will learn about an update on AEW's creative plans for Danhausen. So without ado, let's begin:

AEW star Danhausen signed with the Jacksonville-based company in 2022. He is a close friend of CM Punk's and is quite popular across the globe. When the Detroit-born star made his All Elite Wrestling debut in January 2022, fans believed that he would become a massive star. However, their prediction has proven to be wrong so far.

The 34-year-old has not appeared on any AEW programs this year. Recently, Fightful reported that Danhausen's contract with the Tony Khan-led promotion would run into the summer of 2025. Interestingly, the most unfortunate part of this update was that there were allegedly zero creative plans for him.

#3. A.J. Francis could be The Hurt Syndicate's fourth member

The Hurt Syndicate members MVP, Shelton Benjamin, and Bobby Lashley recently attended the boxing match between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Interestingly, there they ran into former WWE star A. J. Francis (FKA Top Dolla).

MVP posted a clip of their interaction on his Instagram account, seemingly teasing Francis' addition to the stable.

"Ran in to AJ at the fights. Dollars and sense!''

The Hurt Syndicate is actively looking to expand, and Francis would certainly be a worthy contender. The erstwhile Top Dolla worked for the Stamford-based company from 2020 to 2021.

#2. Marty Scurll reveals interesting details from the time he and a few others invaded RAW

In September 2017, Marty Scurll, Cody Rhodes, The Young Bucks, and Hangman Page showed up outside the arena that was hosting Monday Night RAW in California. This was big news back then.

In a recent conversation with That's Wrestling, former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Marty Scurll revealed some interesting information about this angle. He stated that Triple H strictly told WWE stars not to engage with them.

"We have friends in WWE, and we found out through them. I think it was Triple H who texted everyone, basically saying, ‘These guys are outside; don’t engage with them!’ He was not happy at all with what happened," he said. [H/T: RingsideNews]

#1. Jon Moxley said that he underestimated Orange Cassidy

Reigning AEW World Champion Jon Moxley is currently embroiled in a rivalry with Freshly Squeezed Orange Cassidy. In a promo delivered by The Deathrider on the latest edition of Collision, the 38-year-old admitted that he thought that Cassidy would turn into a ''shakey puddle of tears'' after he laid out Chuck Taylor last month. However, that did not happen.

"I've underestimated Orange Cassidy. I've pushed him in the ring before, but this sport's about so much more than what goes on between the ropes. I thought when I broke Chuck Taylor's neck one of two things would happen,'' he said.

Jon Moxley and Orange Cassidy will lock horns for the AEW World Championship at the upcoming Full Gear pay-per-view later this month.
