AEW star to quit the Death Riders and challenge Jon Moxley's leadership? Exploring potential move

Jon Moxley has been wreaking havoc since turning heel on Bryan Danielson and shocking the world. He and the Death Riders have essentially taken over AEW, and it looks like they will not stop anytime soon.

One reason they have been so dominant is the unity of the group. Claudio Castagnoli, PAC, Wheeler Yuta, and Marina Shafir make it impossible for anyone to get the better of Moxley. An external factor cannot upset the group unless someone does it from the inside.

That is where Wheeler Yuta comes in. Yuta was not fully in with Moxley and co when they turned on Danielson; however, he gave in after he had no choice. He has a good relationship with Danielson, a student and mentor.

The best thing would be for him to align himself with Bryan Danielson and challenge Moxley’s leadership. That way, he would secretly work with the former WWE star to give the Death Riders some pushback.

Bryan Danielson praised Jon Moxley’s sidekick Wheeler Yuta

Wheeler Yuta might be aligned with Jon Moxley right now, and it looks like he is all in. However, back in the day when the Blackpool Combat Club was still a thing, Bryan Danielson heaped special praise on him.

The former WWE star spoke to the Bleacher Report when he compared Yuta to his younger self. He said:

"Wheeler has so much upside. He's an incredible human being and that's the part I really look at with people. If you were to look at me when I was 27, I had a lot of holes in my game. I think Wheeler, from an in-ring standpoint and from a promo standpoint, he's getting better all the time. He did a match with Rocky Romero on Rampage that was just fantastic. I just think he's doing a great job," Bryan said.

Given that he once praised him highly and everything that transpired later, it will be interesting to see the above scenario play out, especially given that Bryan Danielson might eventually come back to confront Jon Moxley.
