Bobby Lashley to make WWE return with female star as his manager? Exploring the chances
Former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley could make his TV return after months alongside a female star who he has a history with.
Bobby Lashley has yet to make an appearance on WWE TV since his last match on SmackDown in April where he defeated Karrion Kross in a Pittsburgh Street Fight. However, the former two-time WWE Champion has competed in multiple live events since his absence. Lashley could make his return alongside the female star in question, CJ Perry (FKA Lana).
CJ Perry made her AEW debut at the All Out 2023 pay-per-view two years after leaving WWE. However, Perry recently announced her exit from Tony Khan's promotion after her last appearance at the Worlds End 2023 pay-per-view. Hence, Lana could find her way back to the Stamford-based promotion as she still has many friends there.
Furthermore, CJ Perry could return alongside Bobby Lashley as her manager, as the two have a history together. Back in 2019, WWE presented an infamous storyline where Lana was cheating on her husband, Rusev (AKA Miro) with Lashley.
The two showing up together could be a great callback for the fans as well. Moreover, CJ Perry also expressed her desire to become a legendary manager like Paul Heyman and her dream could come true with a potential WWE return.
Bobby Lashley wants the WWE Championship
Bobby Lashley won the WWE Championship in 2022 and has been away from the title scene for a long time now. The All Mighty recently took to his Instagram handle to post a picture of him with the title alongside the following caption, implying a possible challenge for the world title again:
"Domination is for champions, competition is for everyone else. #TitleChasing #gettingready," he wrote.
Meanwhile, Cody Rhodes is the current Undisputed WWE Champion and is currently feuding with Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline. Only time will tell if Lashley will be his challenger in the future.
