Bobby Lashley may not be the only star to join The Hurt Syndicate at AEW WrestleDream

Bobby Lashley is one of the hottest names in the wrestling world right now. Ever since reports came up that he has signed up with AEW, there has been a lot of speculation as to what he will be doing once he does appear on the show.

The arrivals of MVP and Shelton Benjamin over the past few weeks have added a different intrigue to the speculations and it is only a matter of time before the former WWE star shows up in AEW. Then, there is this question of The Hurt Syndicate, allegedly the faction that MVP is trying so hard to build.

He has been doing that ever since his first appearance when he showed up to confront Prince Nana. Over the last few weeks, MVP has been trying hard to recruit one particular name to the faction.

Swerve Strickland could join Bobby Lashley

The only major focus of MVP has seemingly been to attempt to get Swerve Strickland to join his faction. He made his intentions very clear from the get-go and that had Prince Nana so rattled that he even threatened a return to the squared-circle.

One glance at MVP's social media activity also suggests how Swerve Strickland is at the center of his plans. He recently got Strickland to reply to one of his messages, which goes on to hint that there is more in the offing than what is being shown.

MVP could be the key to unlocking Swerve Strickland’s full potential

MVP has overseen the growth of a lot of stars during his time in wrestling. Ever since he transitioned into the role of a manager, he has successfully managed Bobby Lashley, as was evident during his time in WWE.

Swerve Strickland, even though he was AEW World Champion, seemed like he was missing something. Having a manager like MVP by his side could only mean that he will be pushed as a main event star that his talent warrants.

Bobby Lashley and Swerve Strickland could take on AEW

Bobby Lashley is one of the most accomplished stars in wrestling and when he does show up in AEW, it will be a sight to behold for the fans of the Jacksonville-based promotion.

However, if and when that does happen, having Swerve Strickland by his side could mean that there will be no stopping The Hurt Syndicate. With stars of their caliber being the face of the faction, it will only be a matter of time before they take over AEW.
