Bryan Danielson's AEW future; huge in-ring comeback? - 6 things we learned from the All In Pre-Sale eventĀ

The 2023 edition of All In proved to be one of AEW's most successful pay-per-views of all time. A sequel to the 2018 independent show of the same name, the blockbuster event was hosted in Wembley Stadium in London, where the promotion returned once again for this year's All In.

Several months ago, AEW announced that All In 2025 would change venues and air from Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, on July 12. The Tony Khan-led promotion recently hosted a special event to celebrate tickets for the pay-per-view going on sale, which featured appearances from several top company stars.

Let's examine six things we learned from the Countdown To On Sale press conference for All In 2025.

#1: Big Boom AJ teases his in-ring comeback

Former indie wrestler-turned-social media influencer Big Boom AJ of The Costco Guys made headlines with his proactive promotion of his Full Gear 2024 Zero-Hour match with QT Marshall. The 48-year-old impressed fans with his performance in the bout, which he saw through to the end despite sustaining a foot injury.

AJ, along with his son Big Justice, made an appearance at the All In 2025 ticket sales press conference. The social media phenomenon revealed that he may be poised to return to the ring in about six weeks and even teased his presence at imminent AEW programming to be taped in the Hammerstein Ballroom.

#2: Thunder Rosa opens up on her goals

Since coming back towards the end of last year, Thunder Rosa has been vocal about her desire to regain the AEW Women's World Championship. La Mera Mera had to relinquish the championship in 2022 due to injury after defenses against Marina Shafir, Toni Storm, and Jamie Hayter.

Rosa appeared at the Countdown To On Sale event to promote All In: Texas 2025. The 38-year-old star re-iterated her goal of reclaiming the All Elite Women's World Championship, stating:

"And I just wanted to make a little note. I'm not only the former, but I'm the soon-to-be-again Women's World Champion. I believe in myself, I never lost the championship, and I want an opportunity to be a champion again so we can finish business the right way.. and that's why we're gonna be here at All In.." Only time will tell whether Rosa can achieve her goal.

#3: Bobby Lashley was interrupted by Swerve Strickland

Bobby Lashley made Swerve Strickland pass out to the Hurt Lock in his PPV debut at Full Gear 2024. However, The Realest is not finished with the former WWE Champion, as he made clear last week on Dynamite after beating Max Caster.

In the latest saga of this rivalry, Swerve interrupted Lashley's appearance at the All In 2025 Countdown To On Sale event. The New Flavour and The All-Mighty had a tense stare-down and exchanged threatening words.

However, the confrontation did not escalate further and the two stars even shook hands before Lashley made his exit.

#4: Bryan Danielson provides a major career update

Bryan Danielson's full-time career ended at WrestleDream 2024 when he lost the AEW World Championship to Jon Moxley. The 43-year-old star was last seen on All Elite programming being stretchered to the hospital after being brutalized by his former Blackpool Combat Club stablemates.

Speaking at the Countdown To On Sale press conference, The American Dragon revealed that he will attend All In 2025.

Unfortunately, Danielson went on to indicate that his in-ring participation at the event was uncertain, as were the prospects of his comeback in general.

#5: Darby Allin drops update on Mt. Everest in April next year

Darby Allin is currently a participant in the 2024 Continental Classic, besides his involvement in the All Elite locker room's ongoing war against The Death Riders. The former TNT Champion, who has been a prominent flagbearer of the Jacksonville-based company, revealed at the All In 2025 Countdown To On Sale event that he plans to finally climb Mt. Everest in April 2025 and plant an AEW flag on the peak of the mountain before returning for the Texas pay-per-view.

Allin's Everest expedition was supposed to take place earlier this year. However, the Washington native had to postpone the climb after sustaining multiple broken bones in his foot during his match against Jay White in March.

#6: Sting proclaimed Darby Allin a future AEW World Champion

The Countdown To On Sale event for All In 2025 featured WWE Hall of Famer and wrestling legend Sting. The Icon shared a massive prediction regarding his All Elite tag partner Darby Allin, stating that the latter may hold the AEW World Championship next year.
