Did AEW tease the arrival of 6ft 7in former WWE star at WrestleDream? Exploring the possibility

AEW WrestleDream is shaping up to be a great show once again. Former WWE stars Bryan Danielson and Jon Moxley will be in the main event of the show and the fans are very excited for the match.

However, they are not the only former WWE names that could be at the show, with there being a subtle tease of a 6ft 7in star on Rampage. This took place as MxM took out The Acclaimed in what was a sneak attack.

After attacking The Acclaimed, Mansoor took the microphone and said that they would be accompanied by a third man who they said would be a very special surprise. The person who could show up to be in their corner might be former NXT star, Dijak.

Dijak left WWE towards the end of June and there have been rumblings of him coming over to All Elite Wrestling. If he does indeed make the move, it will be interesting to see how he will be pushed as compared to his time in the Stamford-based promotion. His final few weeks in WWE were quite chaotic as he'd been drafted to RAW but never made an appearance on the red brand before leaving the company.

Dijak praises WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels

WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels has taken over the reins at NXT and has transformed the brand into something that is very exciting for the fans to follow week after week. He has overseen the development of a lot of stars during his time there and one of them was Dijak.

During a recent appearance at Revolution Pro Wrestling, Dijak was asked about Shawn Michaels and he said that he would never say anything bad about the chief of NXT. He said:

"I have never, and will never say a disparaging word about Shawn Michaels. I owe everything to Shawn Michaels, I trust Shawn Michaels, and I love Shawn Michaels, and I'm honored to call Shawn Michaels my friend."

Having a mentor like The Heartbreak Kid is something that not everyone has the privilege of getting. After Dijak’s comments, it is safe to say that he more than respects the WWE Hall of Famer and will do all he can to make his idol proud.
