Fired star to join forces with The Elite to take down Jon Moxley and his faction in AEW? Exploring potential twist
Over the past few weeks, Jon Moxley and his faction have put the AEW locker room at notice. They are annihilating everyone in their path, especially the names who they believe have not fulfilled their potential in the company so far.
It looks like nobody in the company dares to stand up against Jon Moxley and Co. However, there might be one man who possesses the proficiency to repel evil: Kenny Omega. "The Best Bout Machine" is currently sidelined due to diverticulitis.
Kenny Omega was previously a member of The Elite. Unfortunately, earlier this year, its current members Matthew Jackson and Nicholas Jackson (The Young Bucks) fired him from the faction in a humiliating fashion. Furthermore, he was attacked by the AEW World Tag Team Champions, Kazuchika Okada, and Jack Perry. It is not known when the company's first Triple Crown Champion will make his comeback, however, when he does, he is going to be a massive babyface.
Omega and The Elite could sort out their differences in the future. Even if this alliance is temporary, they have the tools to take down Jon Moxley and The Blackpool Combat Club. Tony Khan must have something planned something for Omega's return because the 40-year-old is one of his most valuable assets.
AEW star Kenny Omega believes that when he returns, he can be a top performer again
Kenny Omega recently appeared in a video on NJPW's YouTube channel. There he spoke about his life, career, and hiatus. However, most importantly, The Cleaner stated that when he returns to AEW, he will be a top performer once again.
"I feel that when I do come back, I can come back with a clear head space and possibly be a top-flight performer again," said Omega. [H/T: Fightful]
