Former WWE Champion to officially announce his emotional retirement at AEW All In 2025? Exploring the chances
AEW All In is set to take place at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, next year. The pay-per-view already promises to be historic, and the company has been busy promoting it.
Bryan Danielson is also expected to make an appearance at the 2025 Dallas pay-per-view. The American Dragon has had a roller-coaster year so far. He won the Owen Hart tournament to get a shot at the AEW World Championship which he won at All In 2024. The veteran then announced that he would retire as a full-time wrestler if he lost the title.
At WrestleDream 2024, Danielson lost the title against Jon Moxley. Following the match, Wheeler Yuta choked him out with a plastic bag. Since then, The American Dragon has not been seen on AEW TV.
Today, the company hosted a special Tickets On Sale event for All In. During the event, Bryan appeared and said he didn't know if he would wrestle at All In 2025 but would be at the stadium for the show.
"As for my participation at All In next year, I don't know what that looks like. I don't know if I'll be able to wrestle at that point. I don't know if I'll be able to wrestle again, quite honestly. But there's one thing I can tell you for certain, I will be here. There's nothing you can do to make me miss All In at Globe Life Field," Danielson said.
While Bryan Danielson may not wrestle, he could show up at the stadium and announce his retirement from the business. Although he is no longer a full-time wrestler, he still hasn't announced his retirement, and All In would be the perfect time and place for him to do so.
Sting also returned during this AEW event
Sting had some of the best years of his career in AEW, during which he formed a successful tag team with Darby Allin. Together, they remained undefeated and even won the AEW World Tag Team Championship. The Icon retired from the ring earlier this year with a big win over The Young Bucks.
Following his retirement, Sting returned at All In to save Darby Allin from Jack Perry and The Bucks. It looks like The Icon had one more special appearance up his sleeve.
During the same Tickets on Sale event, Sting returned and predicted that his close friend, Darby, would become World Champion in 2025. He also teased that he would make an appearance at All In 2025.
"You are world championship caliber," Stinger said to Allin. "I knew from the beginning. Sometime in 2025, I am predicting this is the future AEW World Champion right here."
It will be interesting to see if Darby Allin will live up to Sting's expectations and win the World Championship.
