Has AEW subtly teased The Hurt Syndicate's newest member on Collision? Looking at the chances

The Hurt Syndicate has been actively trying to recruit several AEW stars since it arrived in the company. The latest episode of Collision may have subtly teased the next potential addition to the group's ranks.

MVP and Shelton Benjamin have been busy attempting to expand their faction since making their debuts in the Tony Khan-led promotion. The former WWE Superstars were unsuccessful in recruiting Swerve Strickland, leading to a match being set between The New Flavor and The Gold Standard for Fright Night Dynamite. Now, they've made a similar offer to Lio Rush, who may join the stable.

Benjamin made his AEW in-ring debut by successfully defeating Lio Rush after the latter stood up to the former Hurt Business members during a backstage confrontation. Despite decisively losing to the 49-year-old veteran, Rush was given a business card by MVP following his match as an offer to align with them.

Furthermore, this week on AEW Dynamite, The Franchise Playa extended a similar offer to Ricochet, citing their history in WWE, and asked him to consider doing business together with a clean slate. On the October 26, 2024, edition of Collision, The Human Highlight Reel seemingly voiced his disinterest in joining The Hurt Syndicate in a backstage interview.

During the same segment, Ricochet was confronted by Lio Rush, whom he was scheduled to face later on the show. Rush informed The One and Only that he had received an invitation from MVP to be part of their alliance as well. He also asked the former Speed Champion not to overlook him on his path to earning an AEW International Title shot against Konosuke Takeshita.

The nature of Rush's confrontation with Ricochet, in conjunction with the former's remarks, raises the possibility of him joining The Hurt Syndicate at some point. Pertinently, The Man of the Hour was a manager and ally to Bobby Lashley in the global juggernaut. Considering that The All Mighty is rumored to debut in All Elite Wrestling, Rush could soon end up in The Hurt Syndicate.

The Hurt Syndicate also made an offer to a former AEW champion

MVP and Shelton Benjamin approached The Acclaimed on the October 16, 2024, episode of Dynamite. The former AEW World Tag Team Champions were discussing their plans for the future when The Ballin' Superstar offered them a business card, asking them to reach out when they were ready to become serious.

Interestingly, although Anthony Bowens straight up refused to associate with The Hurt Syndicate, Max Caster was seen placing MVP's card in his pocket, potentially teasing his interest in joining the faction.

It remains to be seen what kind of additions MVP and Shelton Benjamin will make to their group moving forward in All Elite Wrestling.
