AEW is gearing up for a potential new era after a new TV deal with Warner Brothers Discovery was announced a few months back. Furthermore, the company President Tony Khan has also promised some big things for the upcoming new year.
Meanwhile, with the year 2025 just over the horizon, January 1st promises to be a special day for the All Elite Wrestling fans. Following are the things that have fans hooked and excited for the new year's Dynamite: Fight for the Fallen 2025 episode:
First-ever MAX simulcast episode
Tony Khan's promotion recently announced that both Wednesday Night Dynamite, as well as Saturday Night Collision, will be streaming on the MAX streaming platform along with TBS and TNT as a part of the new TV deal with WBD.
Therefore, the first Dynamite to be broadcast on MAX will be the Fight for the Fallen episode on January 1st, 2025. This is great news for the AEW fans who have been longing to stream the All Elite shows on a streaming platform.
The beginning of a new era for AEW
With the announcement of the MAX simulcast for AEW's weekly shows, fans can expect the beginning of a new era for All Elite Wrestling. With some of the best talents in the World that were signed in 2024 such as Will Ospreay, Kazuchika Okada, Mercedes Mone, and so on, a new era in the company might be upon us.
Therefore, Tony Khan can kick off the new era in the promotion by booking a great show on January 1st, 2025 with Dynamite: Fight for the Fallen set to take place in Asheville, North Carolina. Fans could expect some surprises for the January 1st episode as well.
Expected return of Adam Copeland (fka Edge)
Adam Copeland (fka Edge) has been out of action since suffering an injury at AEW Double or Nothing during his Barbedwire Steel Cage Match against Malakai Black. Copeland also relinquished his TNT title. Nevertheless, The Rated-R Superstar could make his anticipated return on Dynamite: Fight for the Fallen 2025.
It was recently reported that Copeland has been busy with the filming of Disney's "Percy Jackson" and the filming is expected to wrap up in January 2025. Hence, Adam Copeland could return and show up on January 1st, 2025 as he is reportedly fit to return.
