Jon Moxley to face a major setback at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam after big return? Exploring the chances

Jon Moxley has turned a page in AEW and is now firmly in the heel category. He has been on a tear over the last few weeks and is leaving no one in his trail.

He started by bringing Marina Shafir to his faction and then got the Blackpool Combat Club together to turn on Bryan Danielson at AEW All Out. That was shocking to see, but it was expected, given how things were turning out. The next person in his sights is none other than Darby Allin. The latter will take him on and put his AEW World Championship shot on the line during Dynamite: Grand Slam. The odds are firmly stacked against Darby Allin for this match, but Moxley could face a setback.

That could come in the form of Bryan Danielson. The AEW World Champion could help Allin in his match at Grand Slam, ensuring he has his title shot intact. That way, Darby Allin would get to keep what he has rightfully earned.

Jon Moxley reveals why he attacked Bryan Danielson

Jon Moxley is a man who has few words, but when he speaks, people listen. Many fans were surprised when he attacked Bryan Danielson at AEW All Out and wanted answers.

The former WWE star explained through a video package posted on AEW’s Twitter account. Jon Moxley highlighted why he did what he did and said he did not enjoy what he did to his former stablemate. He pointed out how the two of them started with the same goals, but they have now gone their separate ways.

Jon Moxley also called out the AEW locker room and said there was a lot of ego. He concluded by saying that he was not the hero or the villain but simply the king of the land and was out to declare war.

It will be interesting to see what comes out of this promo in the next couple of weeks.
