Jon Moxley to lose his AEW World Title at Worlds End 2024 after major star interferes? Analyzing the chances

Jon Moxley is set to defend his AEW World Championship in a four-way match at Worlds End PPV. However, the former WWE star could lose the title due to Darby Allin’s interference.

After returning to AEW a couple of months ago, Darby Allin became Jon Moxley’s main target. He successfully defeated The Daredevil to take his All Elite Wrestling World Title opportunity and went on to defeat Bryan Danielson to become World Champion at WrestleDream PPV.

Jon Moxley and his Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, PAC, and Marina Shafir) have been causing havoc ever since. However, Jon Moxley has found himself cornered as he is set to defend the World Championship in a four-way match against Hangman Adam Page, Orange Cassidy, and Jay White at Worlds End. A shocking twist could happen as Darby Allin can make his presence felt during the match by costing Moxley the World Title and making him pay for all the carnage he created.

Tommy Dreamer praises AEW star Darby Allin

Darby Allin is one of the most fearless competitors on the All Elite roster. He is a former TNT Champion and a former World Tag Team Champion in All Elite Wrestling. The star is called The Daredevil for performing risky maneuvers during his matches.

In a recent chat on the Busted Open After Dark podcast, former WWE star Tommy Dreamer called Darby Allin the blueprint of All Elite Wrestling. He praised his work ethic and how he would do anything for professional wrestling:

"So what Darby did was like, why this is special, why this is special for wrestling fans because I know, I know five years is a long time, but Darby gave me his 'why' and showed what he would do for it. He reminds me of Jeff Hardy and I don’t look at Darby and be like, 'Oh man, that’s a small guy.' I look at that guy and was like, 'That guy will do anything for his love of professional wrestling, but also what is professional listening to him? It’s AEW."

The fans will have to wait and see if Tony Khan puts the AEW World Title on Darby Allin after Jon Moxley's run.
