Major AEW star to pull off a swerve and join Jon Moxley's faction soon? Looking at the chances
While Jon Moxley's faction has been looking unstoppable, they could add another major star to their ranks, which would come at the expense of another major faction. This would be Jack Perry turning on The Elite.
The Scapegoat has been with the faction since April and has been a major part of the group with their goal of taking over All Elite Wrestling. He is the current AEW TNT Champion and has been on a great run as of late. Seeing as a new group is running the show, there could be a possibility he will make a business decision and join them instead.
Jon Moxley has held Jack Perry in high regard. A month ago, just a few weeks after Mox's return, they ran into each other backstage. Moxley claimed that no matter what others said, he still thought Perry was a sweet kid.
With The Blackpool Combat Club being the faction that has forcefully taken over the promotion, The Elite may take action to ensure they still have control over everything. In an interesting turn of events, Perry could turn on them and join Jon Moxley, seeing as they were an even bigger force to reckon with. He would be bringing the TNT Championship to the group.
Jack Perry showed no remorse after Jon Moxley and his faction's recent attack
Earlier this week on Dynamite, the BCC got involved in the match between The Conglomeration and The Elite, which turned into a straight-out brawl between the faction and several members of the AEW locker room.
After attacking The Conglomeration, Mox and his faction brawled with Top Flight and Dark Order as well and still came out on top. The Young Bucks and Kazuchika Okada, who were in the match, were shown to be in shock as they high-tailed it up on the ramp and watched everything unfold from a distance, refusing to help in any way.
Jack Perry came out to steer his comrades backstage as they stood frozen on the ramp. Moments later, Daniel Garcia and Private Party confronted them, but Perry still stood unfazed and without any care in the world about the situation. The Bucks and Okada followed the suit.
It remains to be seen whether these two groups will clash at some point over control in AEW. Previously, it seemed as if The Elite were the ones taking over the company, but it seems that they have just been overpowered, as the BCC cannot be stopped.
