Malakai Black to be kicked out of House of Black after former champion returns to AEW? Exploring the chances

The House of Black is led by Malakai Black in AEW. However, rumors of his potential departure from the promotion have been circulating on social media and a returning Julia Hart could pull a shocker by kicking him out of the faction.

Malakai Black formed The House of Black in 2021 after debuting in AEW. His first recruit was Brody King. Buddy Matthews and Julia Hart joined the faction later. The group went on to hold the AEW World Trios Championship; however, many have questioned their direction as fans want Tony Khan to book the faction in the main event scene.

The former TBS Champion Julia Hart has not been featured with The House of Black since suffering a shoulder injury in April. She dropped her TBS Championship to Willow Nightingale before taking time off. With rumors of Malakai Black's departure from All Elite Wrestling, Hart could make her return to divert Brody King and Buddy Matthews towards her and officially kick Black out of The House of Black.

Tommy Dreamer wants Malakai Black to stay in AEW

Malakai Black confirmed after this week's Dynamite that he isn't retiring or leaving All Elite Wrestling. However, many still believe that Black is on his way out of Tony Khan's promotion.

On Dynamite, Malakai Black lost his match against Adam Cole and after the bout, both men hugged it out as Black left to a standing ovation by the fans. In the recent edition of the Busted Open podcast, Tommy Dreamer called the moment respectful and is interested in seeing what happens with Malakai. Dreamer hopes that The House of Black leader stays in All Elite Wrestling.

"Don't know his status... don't know what that was all about, it was just weird, it was respectful and then it was just almost like their own curtain call. Cool stuff to see, hopefully he sticks around AEW or if he goes back to WWE who the hell knows. But it was just a interesting, interesting ending."
