Mariah May's title reign in jeopardy if AEW soon books first-time-ever feud? Analyzing the chances

Mariah May's AEW Women's World Championship reign has been adequate so far. She won the title at the All In Pay-Per-View, by defeating previous champion 'Timeless' Toni Storm in singles competition. After winning the title, she defended it multiple times. However, she is currently in dire need of strong a feud.

Recently, it was announced that Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. would make her in-ring return in next week's Dynamite. Her opponent has not been revealed yet, but fans are quite certain that the former Women's World Champion will deliver an amazing performance. Interestingly, it will make a lot of sense if Tony Khan books a rivalry between her and 'The Glamour'.

Mariah May and Britt Baker have never feuded or had a match before. Both AEW wrestlers radiate immense aura and would probably create magic if they were part of a storyline.

Furthermore, things will only get more interesting if this rivalry results in Toni Storm's AEW return. The Timeless One could cost her former friend the AEW Women's World Championship. After Baker becomes a two-time champion, Storm and May could continue their feud, which is far from over.

Mariah May says that she is not afraid of anybody in the AEW women’s division

In a recent conversation with Rasslin’ with Brandon Walker Mariah May said that she does not feel threatened by anybody in the AEW Women's Division.

"I’m not scared of anyone. Look what I did to Toni Storm. Toni Storm was the greatest champion we ever had. A lot of women tried to take that championship off her. I know because I was ringside for all of it, and they couldn’t," said May. [H/T: 411 Mania]
