MJF to appoint 6'3" AEW star as his bodyguard during Adam Cole feud? Exploring potential move

In less than two weeks at Worlds End, Adam Cole will finally get his hands on MJF. Seeing as he now has no escape, could Friedman look to enlist some help and bring in a top star as his bodyguard in what would be an interesting swerve? This would be Wardlow.

Although Mr. Mayhem is affiliated with Cole and the Undisputed Kingdom, he has not been seen by their side in a few months. This could be similar to Powerhouse Hobbs and the Don Callis Family, where he would harbor negative emotions toward the rest of the faction for deserting him during his hiatus.

During MJF and Adam Cole's match at Worlds End, Wardlow could interfere in the match and cost the former NXT Champion the win, helping Friedman, whom he has previously worked with. The Wolf of Wrestling may have struck a deal with him to join forces again and reform their duo for good now. The two of them could wreak havoc on the Undisputed Kingdom.

With Roderick Strong being out of action due to an assault from MJF, Kyle O'Reilly could once more come into the fray to help his friends. He may finally associate himself with the Undisputed Kingdom, seeing as they have a reason to work together and are on the good side. This may set up a tag team match between MJF, Wardlow, Adam Cole, and O'Reilly.

Adam Cole reveals he is not fully aware of what Wardlow has been up to

At WrestleDream, Adam Cole made his AEW return, and a week later, he finally returned to the ring. He has also reunited with the rest of his faction, but they have now had a change of demeanor, and he is no longer acting like the Devil and the leader of the faction.

Wardlow, who joined their ranks to get revenge on MJF and take over AEW, has yet to be spotted. A few weeks ago, while being interviewed on Casual Conversations with The Classic, Cole mentioned that he still thought highly of the TNT Champion but was not fully aware of what the 6ft 3in star was up to. He revealed that they still kept in contact.

"I still think very highly of Wardlow. I'm not sure exactly what he's doing or exactly what he's up to at the moment, but we still keep in contact," Cole said.

While sidelined, Wardlow may have grown frustrated, as the group's demeanor has changed after all this time. As a heel, he may look to align with MJF, as they are similar in several ways and share a lot of history. Fans should stay tuned to see if this swerve takes place at Worlds End.
