MVP to make AEW debut at All In and introduce former TNT Champion as his new client? Exploring the chances
AEW All In is the biggest wrestling show of the year for the Jacksonville-based promotion and there could be a lot of surprises in store. There is a lot at stake at the event and that means there could also be a few debuts.
One of the wrestlers who could be making his debut at All In might be MVP. The reason for that is his WWE contract reportedly ended on August 16. That is perfect timing given that All In is right around the corner.
MVP has elevated a lot of stars during his time in WWE and the star making his debut at Wembley Stadium could also be the perfect opportunity for Tony Khan to bring back a former TNT Champion into the fold.
Return of Powerhouse Hobbs
Powerhouse Hobbs has not been seen in AEW since April after he picked up an injury in his match against Jon Moxley. He has been out since then and has been continuing his rehab. The star had recently hinted that he might be ready for a comeback.
He took to Twitter recently to post a picture of himself that teased a comeback with a different gimmick or persona. Having MVP involved in it would be great for both parties.
MVP always helps his clients
MVP may no longer be the wrestler he once was but one thing you can't hold against him is his ability to put over his clients. He did that with Bobby Lashley and Omos during his time in WWE.
Hobbs, like Lashley and Omos, is a big towering presence and has a similar build to them. He has been fairly successful so far but having him pair up with MVP could be vital to push him to the next level and AEW All In could be the perfect place for that.
AEW All In needs a big presence
AEW All In has a lot of wrestlers going up against their counterparts in interesting and exciting storylines. However, one thing that some feel was missing was that one intimidating presence. Killswitch is one that featured in that category but he is having his own issues with Christian Cage.
Powerhouse Hobbs could make a big splash if he shows up with MVP in tow and takes part in the Casino Gauntlet match. The added incentive for him would be that if he wins the match, he will be getting a shot at the AEW World Title.
