New AEW World Champion; Next Hurt Syndicate member revealed? - 3 last-minute predictions for AEW Worlds End 2024
2024 is coming to an end and AEW is set to go out with a bang this year as the promotion is set to put on the Worlds End pay-per-view. Tony Khan has set yet another fantastic match card for the fans that could be filled with surprises and twists.
The world title is set to be defended in a fatal four-way match, and the TBS and International Championships will be fought for on the night as well. So, with all of this in mind, we're going to be making some last-minute predictions for AEW's Worlds End 2024.
#3) Christian Cage could finally cash in his contract against Jon Moxley and win the AEW World Championship
Christian Cage and his Patriarchy have been looming over Jon Moxley like a vulture circling prey. Moxley knows very well that he's a marked man with other stars such as Orange Cassidy, Jay White, and Hangman Page also coming for him.
The 3-time AEW Champion has now officially challenged all three of these stars to a fatal-four-way match. However, that's not all he has to worry about if he does enough to retain his world title against these stars at Worlds End.
He'll have to keep looking over his shoulder for Christian Cage as the latter could walk down to cash in once Moxley is exhausted. All he has to do is put him away with the Killswitch with the Patriarchy standing guard for any interferences for him to win the AEW World Title.
#2) The Hurt Syndicate could officially add another member at World's End 2024
The Hurt Syndicate has made it known that they're open to recruiting new members to their ranks. MVP has been passing his business cards around in hopes of getting a few stars to agree to a new opportunity.
Swerve Strickland is out for revenge against Bobby Lashley and the group as he stated that he will get his hands on Lashley before the year ends. We'll have to wait and see if he'll be looking to fight him at Worlds End.
However, the group could lure Strickland into a trap and ambush him by having one of their newest members ambush him. The star in question could be Max Caster or Ricochet.
#1) Kenny Omega could return to AEW to confront Okada
Kenny Omega has been out of action from AEW ever since his Diverticulitis diagnosis and subsequent surgery. The Cleaner is set to finally return to action on January 5 at Wrestle Dynasty in a match against Gabe Kidd.
However, Kenny Omega could return to the company in some capacity according to a report as soon as Worlds End 2024. We're predicting that the Cleaner could make a statement by appearing before Okada and The Elite to confront them and set up a new program for the next year.
