"12-year-old girl haircut having, DORK" - MJF savagely roasts AEW star

Ever since MJF became the AEW American Champion, he has been more outspoken and vicious than his usual self. Wrestling fans across the world believe that the 28-year-old is a generational talent due to his impressive in-ring skills and ability to deliver stellar promos.

MJF recently defended his belt in CMLL, against the promotion's World Middleweight Championship, Templario. This was his first-ever title defense since winning the gold at Dynamite: 250, where he beat the previous champion, Will Ospreay, in a brutal showdown.

In the upcoming episode of Dynamite, Friedman will lock horns with Australian professional wrestler, Kyle Fletcher. Long-term fans of the Jacksonville-based promotion are aware that the current American Champion is ruthless when it comes to roasting his opponents, be it on television or social media.

MJF took to X (formerly Twitter) and spoke about his upcoming match with the former ROH World Television Championship. In his statement, The Salt of the Earth called his opponent a dork and said:

"Headed home after victory. Beat Templario in a match that is being heralded as better than El Santos entire Lucha catalog combined. You’re next you koala eating, 12 year old girl haircut having, DORK. I hope Will can live with himself after Wednesday. Bloods on his hands," wrote Friedman.

Former WWE Superstar Bully Ray believes that MJF is not overrated

Many wrestling fans and industry veterans believe that Friedman is overrated. However, according to Bully Ray, he is not. In a recent appearance on Busted Open Radio, the eight-time WWE Hardcore Champion spoke kindly of the 28-year-old and supported him for the way he is.

"I've come across other veterans in the business who say, 'Max, the kid is overrated.' I say, 'No, he is not.' He is not overrated. He might be a little pompous, he might have a chip on his shoulder. He might have had a little bit of a big head early on in his career but every wrestler goes through it," said Ray.

MJF will defend the AEW American Championship in a rematch against Will Ospreay at All In 2024.
