2-time WWE Universal Champion is "Elite," says AEW veteran Mark Henry
A major AEW star has shared his thoughts on WWE's Seth Rollins. Despite working in rival companies, the AEW talent acknowledged The Visionary as an "Elite talent pro wrestling talent" that will be talked about "for the next 150 years".
Before joining All Elite Wrestling's broadcast team, Mark Henry spent several decades working for the world's largest wrestling promotion. There, he became a two-time world champion and was inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Following Rollins' match against Omos at WWE's recent Backlash Premium Live Event, Mark flooded The Architect with praise. Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Henry said the following about The Nigerian Giant's defeat:
"[Omos] won because he got over ... You don't always have to go over to get over. Omos won. He got experience by being in the ring with an elite pro wrestling talent, someone people will talk about for the next 150 years. And I knew that match was going to be great because Seth Rollins brings out the best in the people that he works with." [H/T: Wrestling Inc.]
Henry went on to claim that Omos will one day be a major star for the Stamford-based promotion. While this remains to be seen, his match against Seth Rollins certainly set him on that path.
