2-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion to quit on Dynamite due to backstage frustration? Looking at the chances
With Jon Moxley's dominant victory over Bryan Danielson at WrestleDream, Dynamite may never be the same again. The Blackpool Combact Club has made it clear their modus operandi is controlled violence. They mean business and nobody in the locker room is safe.
Moxley is now a four-time AEW World Champion. With PAC, Marina Shafir, Wheeler Yuta, and Claudio Castagnoli by his side, Mox is almost invincible. This will be frustrating for a lot of names in the company. However, the situation is going to be even worse for two-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion Christian Cage.
Cage won a Casino Gauntlet match at the All In Pay-Per-View early this year. Because of this, he has a contract that he can cash in for an AEW World Championship match anytime he wants to. The veteran even tried to do it at All Out 2024 but was stopped by Moxley and Co.
Since then, the situation has gotten worse for him. With The Purveyor of Violence being the reigning champion, challenging him would be a terrible idea. Clearly, Dynamite is The Blackpool Combat Club's territory and they are its apex predators.
Due to this, Christian Cage might get frustrated and walk out of Dynamite. It will be interesting to see if The Patriarchy member will ever lock horns with the Ohio native.
