24-year-old star makes blockbuster debut in Tony Khan's promotion
A 24-year-old star made her blockbuster debut in Tony Khan’s promotion Ring of Honor. This match took place at the Final Battle pay per view that is taking place at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York.
Hanako, who is signed with World Wonder Ring Stardom in Japan, took on Harley Cameron at the long awaited Ring of Honor show. Cameron, before starting the match, decided to do some push ups and show off in front of the raucous New York crowd.
Hanako, to her credit, was focused and started the match with some classic grappling holds. The Japanese star’s power was evident from the get go and the AEW star struggled to find her footing in the match.
The match then shifted to the outside where the two women used the steel steps as weapon to inflict further damage on each other. Cameron climbed the top rope in an attempt to end the match, however, Hanako caught her mid air and executed a back breaker.
She then planted Cameron face first with her finisher and took the win with ease. It will be interesting to see if this performance from Hanako will prompt Tony Khan to sign her up in AEW.
