29-year-old female star teased as Death Riders' newest member at AEW Summer Blockbuster 2025

Death Riders are looking to recruit a former AEW champion to join their ranks. At Summer Blockbuster, Jon Moxley and his faction took down Hangman Page. After wreaking havoc, Wheeler Yuta approached Kris Statlander and allegedly offered her a position in the faction.

The former AEW TBS Champion and Willow Nightingale were best friends in the past. Things changed when the 29-year-old star turned heel after betraying Nightingale. After feeling remorse for her actions, Kris apologized to Willow multiple times, but the latter kept rejecting her apologies. It seems Kris has stopped apologizing, and she was frustrated tonight at Summer Blockbuster.

While Statlander vented her frustration, Wheeler Yuta talked about helping her and seemed to invite her to join the Death Riders. The former TBS Champion showed no interest in becoming part of the group yet and stormed off. She also locked eyes with Marina Shafir before exiting.

Marina Shafir and Willow Nightingale have faced off numerous times over the past couple of months. The Purveyor of Violence and his army may be hiring Kris Statlander to take down Willow, as the former has seemingly lost hope that the duo will ever be friends again. It will be interesting to see whether Statlander eventually joins the Death Riders or not.
