3-time WWE champion officially added to AEW Grand Slam: Australia poster after airing frustration
A three-time WWE champion has officially been added to the AEW Grand Slam: Australia poster after previously airing frustration. This will surely feel good for the star and his fans.
The name in question is none other than Buddy Matthews. The House of Black member took to X/Twitter last month to express his dissatisfaction with not being on the poster for the event that will be taking place in his country. AEW President Tony Khan seems to have taken note of it and has now fixed it.
AEW has officially released the new and updated poster for Grand Slam: Australia and Buddy Matthews is now featured on it. Not only Buddy, but the new poster also has Ricochet, Kyle Fletcher, Jay White, and the rest of House of Black.
Matthews was previously in WWE, where he held the Cruiserweight Championship, RAW Tag Team, and NXT Tag Team titles.
Buddy Matthews puts WWE stars Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins on his Mount Rushmore
Buddy Matthews always updates his fans on what is going on in his life and communicates with them frequently.
The former WWE star recently took to Instagram for a live session with his fans, and it was there that he answered one fan’s question about his Mount Rushmore. He said he now has Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins on it.
"What's my Mount Rushmore? I'm assuming you're talking about wrestling. So, I think my Mount Rushmore changes over the years... But growing up my Mout Rushmore would've been Rock, Austin, Jeff Hardy, and probably like Road Dogg or Billy Gunn. I've really connected with those guys. But as I've become more into the business, when I look at the work as it's said, you're looking at probably Roman, Seth... And this is coming to work. This is psychology and whatnot. It's tough man," he said.
It is great to see a current wrestler pay such huge respect to other stars. It just shows the kind of impact Roman and Seth have had in the wrestling world.
