3-time WWE champion unlikely to debut in AEW as Jon Moxley’s faction’s mystery leader - Reports
A report regarding the likeliness of a former WWE veteran leading Jon Moxley and his faction has just surfaced. It seems this is not the direction he will be heading towards should he come on board.
Rumors and speculations regarding Shane McMahon heading to the Jacksonville-based promotion have only increased with time. Recently, he was spotted running into The Young Bucks at an airport, which was reported to be completely coincidental.
Shane O'Mac has also been linked to Jon Moxley and the Blackpool Combat Club as they have hinted at a mastermind working in the shadows. In the recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer mentioned that this was not the case, and sources within AEW said that this was not the "destination" they were headed toward.
Jon Moxley has found resistance in his conquest to take out Bryan Danielson
Ever since his return to AEW, Jon Moxley has been on a warpath, and several names on the roster have fallen victim to the former Lunatic Fringe.
The likes of The Outrunners, Private Party and Kommander, Darby Allin, and of course, Bryan Danielson have all been taken out by Mox and the Blackpool Combat Club. However a few days ago on Dynamite, Wheeler Yuta started resisting him.
After Bryan's match against Kazuchika Okada, the BCC surrounded the ring. However, before Mox could get in and do anything, Yuta came out of nowhere with a hammer in hand and outlined his intentions.
At this point, it seems that Bryan Danielson might have found an ally in his war with Moxley and the BCC. It remains to be seen which side will have the momentum heading into WrestleDream next week.
