3-time WWE tag team champions return to AEW after Dynamite goes off the air

A top AEW tag team has returned following AEW Dynamite tonight. This would be for the next episode of Collision which will air on television this coming Saturday. The team discussed here is FTR.

The former WWE Superstars have not been seen in the promotion in over a month, with their last match being a time-limit draw against Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta of the Blackpool Combat Club.

The former tag team champions were out after Dax Harwood revealed that he was suffering from a hematoma which he sustained during their ladder match against The Young Bucks back in April at Dynasty. At the time, he announced that he was taking an indefinite hiatus to recover from the injury.

As seen on X/Twitter, some fans tweeted about tonight's taping of Collision, and mentioned FTR came out during the show. There has been no further information on their appearance and what this means for their in-ring future.

With Blood and Guts right around the corner, Team AEW will go to war once more with Team Elite. FTR was part of the last team that took on the EVPs at Double or Nothing 2024, and they may be back to enlist their services to take on their old rivals again. But it remains to be seen if Dax is now medically cleared to compete.
