4-time WWE Champion announces he needs neck surgery

A multi-time WWE Champion revealed earlier tonight during a sit-down interview that he will be needing neck surgery before the end of the year. The name in question is Bryan Danielson.

The American Dragon has had his fair share of neck issues, and there was even a time when he had to retire due to concussions, and it seemed that he would never return to the ring. In 2018, he made his WWE in-ring comeback and was part of the promotion till 2021. Later that year, he made his AEW debut and has been with the promotion since.

In two weeks, Bryan Danielson will challenge Swerve Strickland for the AEW World Championship at All In 2024.

During a sit-down interview with WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross that was aired tonight on Collision, Danielson revealed that he will likely need to undergo neck surgery before the end of the year. This could be due to the lasting effects of numerous hard-hitting matches he has had in recent times.

With his career on the line for his match at All In, it remains to be seen whether The American Dragon will be able to dethrone Strickland.
