4-time WWE champion speaks out in support of former AEW star Saraya: "There has to be boundaries" (Exclusive)
Former AEW star Saraya faced an unfortunate and disturbing incident during a fan signing event a few weeks ago. The former world champion was approached by a fan who attempted to kiss her, violating her personal space.
She tweeted about the same later on and issued a clarification on the etiquette to be followed during such events. Former WWE star EC3 spoke out in support of the former Divas Champion.
Addressing the issue during The Wrestling Outlaws podcast on Sportskeeda WrestleBinge, EC3 hit out against some fans. The four-time WWE 24/7 Champion spoke in support of the female stars in the wrestling business.
''And I think many wrestlers, especially these young ladies, these beautiful, attractive, vibrant, lovely women, are going to have, you know, people that are fond of them, admiring them for their beauty, their grace, and their skills, of course. But like, yeah, there has to be boundaries. And I don't think we need to address it as a collective or as a group. It should be known and should be ingrained. I just feel terrible for some of the stuff they have to endure, as far as something as simple as like DMS or like tweets or these," EC3 said. [From 2:10 onwards]
Saraya, formerly known as Paige in WWE, has been out of action since leaving AEW a few months prior. Speculation is rife amongst fans that the former AEW Women's World Champion is set to sign with WWE in the coming weeks.
