40-year-old former WWE name makes a major return after recent AEW departure
A former WWE name parted ways with AEW a few days ago. The 40-year-old star also returned to the ring after he departed from the Jacksonville-based company.
Jimmy Jacobs was a member of Tony Khan's creative team. He closely worked with him to create interesting storylines and plots for weekly television and monthly PPVs.
Fighful Select's Sean Ross Sapp reported last week that Jacobs had resigned from All Elite Wrestling and the split was made on good terms. It was also disclosed that Khan was looking to "freshen up creatively," hence the sudden change.
A few days after he departed from AEW, Jacobs made a shocking return to the independent circuit. He made a surprise appearance at XICW Detriot on Saturday, October 12.
The event featured a Triple Threat match between Adam Wick, MM3, and Trey Miguel for the Midwest Championship. He interfered in the match and attacked MM3 with a steel chair, thus helping Wick pick up the victory and the Midwest Championship.
Dax Harwood reacts to the claim of Tony Khan suddenly firing Jimmy Jacobs from AEW
The departure of Jimmy Jacobs has been a hot topic of discussion in the wrestling universe for the past few days. Podcast host JDfromNY on X claimed that Jacobs didn't leave on his terms but was fired by Tony Khan.
Like many times before, Dax Harwood came to save Tony Khan from the absurd claim and hit back at the podcast host.
Dax said, “Dude. I feel so sorry for you. Like, we get that you’re a mark and you love that another company makes you feel special, but my God dude, If I hated something as much as you hate AEW & Tony, I’d just stop watching it. Right?!"
The FTR member asked the host of Off The Script to stop watching AEW if he hates the product so much. He also called him a stalker for being so infatuated with Tony Khan and his product.
