6 ft 1 in star optimistic about returning to AEW in time for All In this year
A recently signed star has expressed his excitement about AEW's UK tour in August 2024 for All In. The talent is hopeful about competing on his home turf later this year.
The 6 ft 1 in star in question is Zak Knight. He hails from Norwich, UK, and is the brother of former AEW Women's World Champion Saraya (fka Paige). Knight signed with the Tony Khan-led promotion earlier this year after a stellar career on the UK's independent wrestling scene. The 33-year-old was last seen on TV on an episode of Rampage in April.
Zak Knight has competed in multiple dark matches in recent months and is seemingly preparing to become a regular on-screen character. AEW recently released its schedule for All In week. The company will be heading to Cardiff for Dynamite and Collision in August, before the pay-per-view at Wembley Stadium.
Knight took to X/Twitter to express his excitement about All Elite Wrestling's upcoming tour of the UK. He was optimistic about earning a spot on the match card for Dynamite or Collision in Cardiff, Wales.
"@AEW comes to Cardiff, Wales August 21st for #AEWDynamite & #AEWCollision and then onto @wembleystadium August 25th for the biggest show on the year #ALL IN Iβm motivated and hungry to earn my spot on either show ππΌ Who is going to Cardiff or Wembley? LETβS BE AVIN YA π₯ππΌ," Knight tweeted.
AEW star Zak Knight's booking heading into All In week
As mentioned earlier, Zak Knight last appeared on AEW TV during an episode of Rampage in April. He secured a win over Angelo Parker in his last televised match. Following that, Knight competed in Ring of Honor and had consecutive dark matches on Collision and Dynamite. However, he has yet to make an on-screen comeback.
All Elite Wrestling's tour of the UK in August may be a massive opportunity for Zak Knight. Only time will tell whether he will be featured on Dynamite or Collision before All In at Wembley Stadium.
