6 ft 7 in RAW star addresses working for AEW after shockingly announcing WWE departure
A WWE RAW star who recently announced his departure from the company opened up on the possibility of working for AEW with a seemingly sarcastic statement. The star appeared on his fellow wrestlers' Twitch stream.
The 6ft 7in RAW star in question is none other than Dijak. He was called up to the main roster earlier this year after a second run in NXT. However, the 37-year-old star was not on TV for weeks and eventually announced his departure after revealing that he had not been approached for a contract extension.
Dijak also tagged Tony Khan, Tommy Dreamer, TNA, and NJPW in his post regarding the departure. Meanwhile, fans on the internet are also speculating about him potentially joining AEW after becoming a free agent. Dijak also broke the silence on him potentially having talks with the Jacksonville-based promotion.
During his appearance on the InsideMxM Twitch Stream recently, Dijak was discussing AEW with his former fellow WWE stars, Mansoor and Mason Madded (fka Mace). The 6ft 7in joked about how he has already drafted and submitted his pitches to Tony Khan's promotion.
"You asked what pitches I would make for AEW? They have already been drafted and submitted," Dijak said.
AEW star reacts to the WWE RAW superstar's departure
Current AEW star, Keith Lee also expressed his disappointment on the WWE RAW superstar, Dijak's departure from the promotion. Keith and Dijak have a lot of history from their days together in NXT. Here is how Lee reacted to the 37-year-old star's announcement:
"This is quite unfortunate.... but it won't stop that engine. The professional wrestling world should consider tightening its collective seatbelt."
Moreover, Dijak is now officially a free agent, and being in the prime of his career, he can explore many options now. Only time will tell what the future has in store for the former RAW star.
