6ft 1in AEW star sends a message to Big E
AEW star Powerhouse Hobbs recently sent a message to WWE Superstar Big E who returned to TV on this week's edition of Monday Night RAW which featured The New Day's 10th anniversary celebration. Surprisingly, E's stablemates Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods turned their backs on him.
The last time fans saw him in action was on the March 11, 2022, edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown, where he teamed up with Kofi Kingston to take on Ridge Holland and Sheamus. During the match, he suffered a career-threatening neck injury and is still recuperating from it.
Ahead of this week's episode of the WWE flagship show, the 38-year-old superstar took to X (fka Twitter) to express his heartfelt gratitude for getting the opportunity to become a member of The New Day.
"I don’t know if The New Day saved my career or my life. But I know it turned them both into things where anything feels possible. I hope you’ll read this," he wrote.
Reacting to his tweet, AEW star Powerhouse Hobbs sent a message to E.
"🙏🏾🙏🏾 I appreciate this dude more than he knows."
Wrestling veteran comments on Big E'sWWE RAW segment
Speaking on this week's edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, wrestling veteran Vince Russo shared his thoughts on The New Day's 10th anniversary celebration segment on WWE RAW. Russo didn't like the promo and said that the entire segment didn't make sense at all.
"That Kofi-Woods thing made zero sense. My God, bro. The dude broke his freaking neck, and you want me to believe that two of his closest friends are gonna cut a promo on him because he broke his neck? That was beyond unbelievable."
With Big E stepping away from the group during his in-ring hiatus, how will this impact his journey in WWE? Only time will tell.
