8-time champion defeats Saraya (fka Paige) on AEW Collision debut

Saraya (fka Paige) was defeated by an eight-time champion who was also making her debut on AEW Collision. This was a great way to start off the show.

The star in question is none other than Jamie Hayter. The 29-year-old has held eight titles throughout her wrestling career in several promotions and is also a former AEW Women’s World Champion. She had been targeted by Saraya and The Outcasts ever since making her return from injury at All In on August 25.

Last week, the former WWE SmackDown General Manager laid out a challenge for a 'Saraya Rules Match' where Hayter would be heavily disadvantaged with all the special rules in favor of the 32-year-old. However, the challenge was accepted and the match went ahead as planned.

The match started off well with the leader of The Outcasts gaining an early advantage thanks to Harley Cameron. Jamie Hayter was not able to get a shot in but it all changed once she hit a German Suplex outside the ring.

Harley Cameron was taken out of the equation when she and Jamie went through a table. Hayter then made it back to the ring just in time and hit Paige with a Tombstone and then a Lariat to pick up the win.
